Question 1

Do you offer interior design services in Toorak?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Q + Co Design works with homeowners, builders and architects throughout Toorak and the wider Inner East Melbourne. The studio is based in Mornington, Victoria, and regularly travels to Toorak for on-site design and planning reviews, site measures, installations and styling days.

Question 2

How much does an interior designer cost in Toorak?

Accepted Answer

Fees depend on the scope of the project. Q + Co Design offers a complimentary initial design call, a paid on-site design and planning review, and full-scope interior design engagements priced per project. After an initial conversation about your Toorak home, the studio provides a tailored proposal with clear inclusions so you know exactly what you are investing in.

Question 3

What types of projects do you take on in Toorak?

Accepted Answer

The studio works across new builds, renovations and extensions, as well as interior styling and FF&E packages for finished homes in Toorak. Commercial and retail fit-outs are also undertaken. Each project starts with a detailed brief covering how you live, your timeline and your budget.

Question 4

When should I engage an interior designer for a Toorak project?

Accepted Answer

As early as possible. Engaging a designer during the architectural or drafting stage of a Toorak build or renovation means layouts, joinery, lighting and finishes are resolved before construction begins — which avoids costly changes later. That said, Q + Co Design can join a project at any stage, including part-way through a build or once the keys are handed over.

Question 5

How long does an interior design project in Toorak take?

Accepted Answer

A styling or FF&E package for a Toorak home typically runs six to twelve weeks. A full-scope design for a renovation or new build usually spans three to six months of design and documentation, then continues alongside the construction program. Lead times on furniture and joinery are factored into the schedule from the outset.
